One-liner
LapseGuard is an iPhone app that remembers everything that expires (passports, insurance, inspections, subscriptions) and reminds you before it lapses, with all data kept on your device.
Boilerplate
LapseGuard keeps a ledger of everything in your life with a date on it: documents, vehicle deadlines, insurance, warranties, memberships, and subscriptions with their cost. Country preset packs for 30 countries pre-fill the deadlines that actually exist where you live, under their local names and cycles. Reminders arrive as one quiet daily digest. There is no account and no cloud: everything stays in a local database on the phone. The free tier tracks 10 items; LapseGuard Pro (€14.99 a year or a €39.99 lifetime purchase) removes the cap and adds features for families and companies. LapseGuard is built in Lisbon by independent developer Adam Duchemann.
