LapseGuard is built by a small independent team. The app is free, works entirely on your device, and needs no account. The blog is how people find us: practical answers to deadline questions, in six languages.
How we verify our guides
Every figure in a guide (a fee, a deadline, a fine, a validity period) is checked against an official primary source before publication: the government agency, the official journal, or the law itself. Each article lists its sources.
A claim we cannot trace to an official source is left out. We would rather publish less than guess.
Rules change. Each article shows the date its facts were last verified, and we re-check the figures behind our guides on a regular cycle. Translated editions carry the same figures as the verified original.
